Parks/Lake Access
HARTLAUB LAKE

Hartlaub Lake covers 38 acres and reaches a maximum depth of 59 feet. Parking for 8 car/trailer units is provided at the public access. The steep access road and parking area has been blacktopped and like Gass Lake, the access road is barricaded during the winter months. Due to the soft bottom of the lake, a 60 foot port-a-pier has been installed for easier access.

The lake is known for northern pike, bass, walleye and panfish. Use of motors, except electric motors, are prohibited.

Location: Hartlaub Lake Road, Town of Newton
Directions: Take Highway 42 South from Manitowoc 2 miles to English Lake Road. East on English Lake Road .3 miles to Hartlaub Lake Road. East on Hartlaub Lake Road to boat landing.
