Manitowoc County Tax Parcel Search Help

SEARCH BY PARCEL NUMBER:

You may search our tax records several different ways. The fastest, and most accurate way, is by searching the parcel number. (Sometimes referred to as the “tax key number”, or “account number”.)

This is a 14-digit number, which always starts with a zero.

The City of Manitowoc and the City of Two Rivers create their own numbers, and when they are transferred to the County, we add extra digits to distinguish between the two municipalities.

City of Manitowoc - they usually have a nine-digit number. The County adds 052 before the number, and adds .00 to the end of the number so it will look like this 052-000-312-020.00.

City of Two Rivers - they usually have a ten-digit number. The County adds 053 before the number, and adds a zero before the last digit so it will look like this 053-000-312-020.01.

SEARCH BY SITE ADDRESS:

To search by the site address: enter the house number, and the street or road name. You do not need to enter Street(ST), Road(RD), Avenue(AVE), or Court(CT), etc.. The County will often abbreviate the County Trunk Highway as CTH or HWY. State Trunks may be shown as STH, and U.S. Highways as USH.

If you do not know the house number, just enter a street or road name. You can also just enter a house number, without entering a road name.

Manitowoc County does not have all the site addresses for all parcels in the County. We have tried to collect these through real estate transfers, lottery credit claim forms, tax collections, and the local assessors. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the site address search. If the property is land only, you will not find it through this search, because it would have no address.

You may select a municipality from the pull down menu that appears. If you search by the municipality, this will narrow the search to just that one municipality.

To search by Section, Township, and Range: enter the section #, township #, and range # from the legal description which you might have.
